The Mandalika Circuit or the Mandalika International Circuit is a racing circuit located in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK Mandalika) in Kuta Village, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This circuit will host the 2021 MotoGP season and is the first road circuit in the world to host MotoGP. The circuit, which is already in the paving stage, has a track length of 4.31 km with 17 bends, and is projected to be completed in June 2021.
Built French Company

The giant French construction company, Vinci, will be involved in the construction of the Moto Grand Prix (MotoGP) circuit in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Mandalika, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). KEK Mandalika itself is managed by the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC).

ITDC President Director Abdulbar M Mansoer said that in the near future he would conduct a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Vinci. Later, Vinci will play a role in building infrastructure such as tracks on the circuit.

"We are looking for a strong partner who will invest in track. One party is named Vinci, the largest contractor company in France. Like WIKA, a French BUMN. This morning (yesterday) we met again. The involvement of the French company is due to the need for special criteria for the track circuit. Even so, the tracks both use asphalt. He explained that ITDC itself manages an area of ​​1,100 ha in the Mandalika SEZ. For the construction of this circuit, ITDC provides up to 100 ha of land.

"The area of ​​the circuit we provide is up to 100 ha. The area is 1,100 ha, some of which are starting to be built," he said.

Previously, ITDC had also entered into an MoU with Roadgrip Motorsport UK Ltd and Mrk1. He said that Roadgrip itself will act as the party that takes care of the license, while Mrk1 will act as a consultant.

"Mrk1 and Roadgrip have one consulting, one license to operate. We are ITDC state owned land owners. We cannot sell it, but become a joint venture as part of our contribution," he said.

Regarding the investment value, his party has not conveyed. The investment value itself will be calculated through a feasibility study (FS).

"The consortium, we are Vinci, Mrk, Roadgrib, we are going there. We have just built the organizers and contractors, then we will formulate a legal entity that makes the FS," he said.

Infrastructure development in Mandalika, including the circuit, requires funds of Rp 4.54 trillion for seven years

Especially for these three years, the funds to be absorbed will reach Rp 3.6 trillion. The circuit itself will have a length of 4.32 km with a beautiful panorama in the Mandalika area.

Championship (WSBK).

FIM and Dorna Sports Impressed
